Kathryn's Point of View
Daniel is crazy! Akala ko ako lang ang nababaliw pero mas malala pa siya sa akin! He wants us to get married this Saturday! Sino nga bang taong nasa tamang pagiisip ang makakaisip na magpakasal ng ganun kabilis?
Paul and I both looked at him in disbelief but he just shrugged it off and smiled at us "At wag natin ipalaam na ikakasal na kami, let's keep it a secret until Saturday!" he told us.
Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako sa kanya o ano, dahil ou nag agree akong siya ang papakasalan ko pero we're not in a hurry naman diba? We could do it a month after or so basta nakaprepared yun. I deserved a grand wedding!
Hindi ko naman hinihiling na magka-grand wedding ako, I mean as long as nandun si Daniel as my groom then ayos lang pero I don't want to hastily marry him. I love him and I do want to marry him so badly pero not this early, ok pa kung may one month notice not a week notice.
"Daniel hindi ba masyadong mabilis ata?" I asked him.
He pouted. Oh my God, did he just pout at me? "Akala ko ba gusto mo akong pakasalan?" seriously? He's using his cuteness to get me to agree with him? And it's kinda working!
"I do want to marry you pero masyadong mabilis Daniel."
"I just want you to be my wife Kath. Natatakot ako na baka mawala ka ulit sa akin kaya gusto kong makasal na tayo para wala na silang magagawa pa." Daniel said.
I smiled at him and lumapit ako sa kanya, not minding na nasa loob din si Paul. "Daniel hindi na ako mawawala sayo, I promise to never leave you again. I will always be by your side Daniel pero if you really want us to get married this Saturday then let's do it." sabi ko sa kanya.
"So I guess we have work to do?" Paul asked and I smiled at him "Saan gaganapin ang kasal milady?" he asked.
Tinignan ko lang si Daniel dahil hindi ko alam kung saan, I do want a Church wedding pero it would attract people's attention and all. Daniel shrugged "You have a beautiful garden." he commented. And napaisip ako, yes we do have a garden at isa yun sa pinakamaganda part ng bahay namin, it always gives me solitude. And if we got married in our garden parang nandun na din si mommy and so I smiled at Daniel.
"Alright, I'd let them prepare it for the wedding at aayusin ko na din ang marriage certificate niyo and I'd talk with Father Noel." Paul said.
"Do it discreetly Paul." sabi ni Daniel. "And invite the media for the wedding pero don't tell them what it's about, sabihin mo lang may party."
"Will I invite investors?"
I nodded. The investors and board members would love to attend my wedding, I mean they'd have a fit kung hindi sila maiinvite.
"What about the other Vanderbilt?"
Napaisip ako, paano kung ininvite namin sila? I'm sure gagawa si Tita Clarisse ng paraan para itigil yun and would make a scene and I want my wedding to be perfect. And so I shook my head, they'd learn it the hard way. "Make sure na they won't know about it at make sure they're far from our house Paul. We wouldn't want an uninvited guys would we."
Ngumiti si Paul as soon as he got what I meant. Nagpaalam na din si Paul after namin pagusapan ang mangyayari sa Saturday, Daniel and I decided to invite Khalil and Julia and of course we'd let them know about it first. I trust them naman din eh.
Our wedding would be just a simple ceremony of sharing our vows and letting them know our love for each other is true. It would be simple and I'm happy and excited for it.
We also decided to keep the ruse na hindi kami nagpapansinan, para walang makahalata na may mangyayari this Saturday, we don't want the Vanderbilt's to know and ruin our wedding at si Bea pa, I'm sure pag nalaman niya yun, she'd throw a fit and maybe go tell the Vanderbilt.
Ayaw pa nga ni Daniel nung una na mag pretend kaming hindi pa kami ok but I told him, our plan might backfire kung we won't go pretending, we all know na maraming hahadlang sa amin and I won't let them ruin what we have.

Today is Wednesday at ngayon namin balak sabihin kayla Khalil and Julia na ikakasal na kami sa Saturday, I hope they'd take it well. And also tonight there's this mask gala that we're invited to. Ayaw ko sanang pumunta pero of course that might lead them to suspect.
Nandito ako ngayon sa isang classroom waiting for Khalil, Julia and Daniel, my body guards secured the place, I mean they made sure na walang makakaalam with this meeting. Paul also made sure na yung mga body guards ko ay loyal sa akin at hindi sa mga Vanderbilt. Hindi ko alam kung anong ginawa ni Paul to make sure na hindi sila isa sa mga spy ng Vanderbilt.
Paul discreetly terminated all of possible spies of the Vanderbilt within our house, and yung mga yun ay yung mga bagong maids or guards that were placed, pero sympre the old helps are still loyal to my family, to me.
Unang dumating si Julia and ngumiti siya sa akin nung nakita niya ako. Lumapit siya sa akin, ngumiti ako sa kanya "What's up at nakapaligid ang mga guards mo sa labas?" she asked as she points her head towards outside the door.
"Wala lang, they're making sure na safe ito for us to talk." I said.
Umupo siya sa isang chair "So what are we going to talk about at kailangan na safe?"
Umupo ako sa tapat niya, I want to tell something to Julia habang wala pa sila Daniel, it was always bugged me pero I shrugged it off every time dahil I love Julia too.
"Kailan ka pa na inlove kay Daniel?"
Nagulat siya sa tanong ko and she straighten up and eyed me curiously. "Dan is my best friend." she denied.
"At na inlove ka sa kanya." I said at yumuko lang siya"Bakit hindi mo sinabi sa kanya?"
"Would it change a thing?" she asked as she looked at me "It won't Kath kasi it will always be you. Kung may magbabago baka ayun yung masira yung friendship namin."
"But still you had your chance."
"When?" She asked as she forced herself not to chuckle "Ngayon na hindi kayo nagkakaintindihang dalawa?" I slowly nodded, feeling guilty na hindi pa niya alam na ayos na kami she smiled at me "Siguro dahil mas mahal kita kaysa kay Daniel." she joked. "But in all seriousness I won't ever risk my friendship with him also with you, alam kong mahal niyo ang isa't isa and I'm happy for the two of you and I would be happy kung magkakaayos na kayo."
And that is why I love Julia dahil napakabait niya, she was never an antagonist in this story, she never was and never will be dahil she's my best friend aside from Daniel.
"About that....." I started, I badly want to tell her ang tagal kasi nila Daniel.
"Kung mahal mo siya Kath, trust him. He'll come around and finally whisk you away from all this drama." Julia said. I almost laughed. kung alam mo lang Julia.
I was about to tell her when the door opened at pumasok si Daniel together with Khalil, and I take it na alam na ni Khalil dahil pagpasok na pagpasok nila, ngumiti agad sa akin si Khalil na parang proud siya sa akin at lumapit para yakapin ako at sympre Daniel being Daniel nilayo agad si Khalil sa akin.
Inakbayan niya agad ako and kissed me sa cheeks. I blushed like a 10 year old. And napatingin ako kay Julia na kitang kita yung pagkagulat, Daniel smirked "We're getting married." he announced nonchalantly.
Julia's jaw dropped "WHAT?"
"Umm... we talked and we're getting married." sabi ko.
She smiled at she take turns in hugging us both "I'm so proud of you two. I'd be the maid of honor right?" she asked me and of course I wouldn't want to disappointed my friend so I nodded. "So when's the wedding? We have so many things to do."
"Uh.... Saturday."
"Saturday.... hmm... that's a nice day I mean yeah it's not Sunday but yeah that would work pero the exact date is when again?" Julia asked. Khalil almost laughed at Julia being so slow picking that up. Hindi pa kami nagsalita ni Daniel, kasi I feel awkward bigla ewan ko kung bakit. Then ewan ko pero bigla atang nagprocess na sa utak ni Julia yung sinabi ko "Wait. YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED THIS SATURDAY?" she shrieked. We both nodded. "Pa...paano....bakit... bakit napakabilis?"
"I want Kath to be my wife already." Daniel answered "So we expect you to be there. Don't tell anyone about it dahil sikreto ito at sa Saturday lang nila malalaman na they're actually attending our wedding, keep it a secret especially to Enrique and Bea."
Julia scoffed "As if naman na sasabihin ko kay Bea yun no." she said "So really sa Saturday na? And you guys only gave me what 3 days notice?" natawa nalang kami "But I'm happy for the both of you. Akala ko nga pag nagkaayos kayo, magtatago lang kayo and hindi na magpapakita pa ulit sa akin so I'm proud na you decided that no more running." she smiled.
"Me too." Khalil said to us. "You're mother would have been so proud of you Kath." I smiled sa sinabi niya, sana nga.
"Thanks." I said.
Niyakap ulit ako ni Julia "I'm really happy for you."
"Thanks Juls."
"So I'll see you later sa party?" She asked as she pulled away from me.
I nodded.
"Will we see both of you together?" Khalil asked.
"We're sort of pretending na hindi pa kami ayos." sagot ni Daniel. "But we'll be there later."
"Yeah see you later guys."
After that umalis na din kami ni Daniel and umuwi na sa bahay ko, dito lang kasi kami nakakapagsolo ni Daniel and it's time for us to prepare for tonight.
I'm glad sinabi na namin sa dalawa naming kaibigan yung sa kasal namin na mangyayari sa Saturday, I feel so excited. I wish nothing could ruin our day.
