Chapter 42 – Nian’s sex exploits
Exams are over. Three more weeks and I’ll be graduating high
school. I don’t think I’m ready to graduate. I don’t know.
akong ginagawang projects last two days on top of it, exam week pa. I am a
procrastinator and I do things last minutes. I’m much better doing things under
pressure anyway.
Dad did my woodshop project. Our cook did my Home Ec
project, which was to bake something, and Ate Luz, one of our household staff,
did knitting.
Archery mamaya. We’re going to shoot later.
“So…” Carmina says as she sits beside me, she places
her stationeries at the top of the desk. She turns to look at me with a wide
grin in her face.
I sigh as I set my book down, just when I am getting into my
book she just has to interrupt me with some stories. “Ano? Hindi ba dapat
tinatapos mo na yan para sa Calligraphy?” I ask.
“Okay. Anong kailangan mo?”
I laugh. Of course, it’ll be about food. Carmina and the
food. I nod at her. “Sige. Quarter Pounder right?” she nods eagerly and
I pull my phone out of my pocket. I dial Cyril’s number and in two rings he
answers. “Cy.”
“Ano?” he asks grumpily. Oh no. Cyril’s not in a good
mood.
“Saan ka na?”
“On the way. Bakit? May kailangan ka ano?”
I chuckled nervously. “Well, since you asked… pwede
pabili kami sa Mcdo ni Carmina?”
He sighs. “Lagpas na ako ng Mcdo.”
“One hour pa naman bago yung assembly eh!” I point
out.
“Okay.
asks, he knows us too well. Unfortunately, Ynna is still at the guidance for
the evaluation.
“Sige bili mo na rin siya. Yung sundae ko ah!” I
remind him. We hang up after that and Carmina beams at me happily.
Fifteen minutes later, I begin to read again and Carmina
starts putting her stationeries inside the enevelopes.
Our classroom door opens and Elsie barges in, she’s panting
hard and she looks up. “Nahuli si Nian sa SEX ROOM!” she announces.
Everyone gapes at her with our mouth open. In St. Peter
High, there’s still janitor’s closet on the fifth floor of the high school
building, the school staff doesn’t use it very much because it’s much
convenient for them to use the one on the second floor. That closet is rumored
to be known as where guys bang girls.
It’s widely known as the Sex Room, walang creativity yung
nagpasimuno nung nickname para sa closet na yun but it got stuck so everyone
just refers to it as the Sex Room.
If you get yourself in that closet with a guy or girl,
you’re dead. Especially if you’re a girl, rumors will start spreading and
you’ll always be referred to the girl who had sex at the infamous Sex Room, a
whore or slut sometimes when it fits.
Oh well. Nian deserves it, she flirts with anything that
moves.
Everyone ignores Elsie and just goes back working on their
projects, just like I said, it’s expected. We all know Nian will get caught
someday, she’s always making out with someone in the stairs or girl’s bathroom
anyway. But this sure is big, getting caught in the infamous Sex Room. She sure
made certain, she’ll be famous before we even leave for college.
“Kasama si Allen.”
And that’s when everyone stops, I also stop and will myself not to look
at Elsie or anyone else.
I don’t look at anyone, I pretend to be calm and nonchalant
when everything inside me is screaming what the hell.
“Paano mo naman nalaman yan Els?” Ran asks.
I see Elsie rolling her eyes at Ran.
Lola.” She tells us.
Ran is about to speak up when Ella and Ynna come inside our
classroom, also panting and I expect they’re also going to tell us more about
this. Allen and Nian.
“Totoo Ella?” Riley asks.
Ella nods. “May condom pa sa bulsa ni Nian!” she
exclaims.
I feel so down, I know I don’t have any business being mad
at Allen because I told him to let go and move on, I just didn’t expect this. I
don’t know but I feel so betrayed.
“Ano daw mangyayari sa dalawa?” Tony asks. I’m sure
he’s worried about his friend, I would be if I’m not feeling so hurt right now,
I’d worry about what would be the outcome for Allen.
good moral.” Ella answers.
I stand up suddenly not wanting to hear any of this crap. I
walk out of the room, I know they might think something’s up if I’m acting like
this. Let them think what they want, nasa isip na rin naman nilang lahat yun
I hear two other sets of footsteps and I know Carmina and
Ynna are following me right now. I go up and straight to the debate clubroom,
hoping no one is there right now, I need to calm my insides.
I open the door and no one is around. I walk inside and
starts pacing. Ynna closes the door and sits in one of the chairs.
Carmina sits beside her and they both look at me. “Feeling
crappy?” she asks.
I laugh hysterically. “Gosh.
I admit to them. “Hindi ba alam ni Allen yung three
month rule!” I say.
“Actually, kung tutuusin lagpas ng three months.”
Ynna says.
“Actually hindi nga applicable yung three month rule
dahil never naging kayo.” Carmina butts in.
I laugh loudly, bring it to these girls to comfort me in the
worst possible way. But this is what I love about these two, we don’t placate
one another, we tell the truth flat out even when it stings.
“Ang landi niya!” I say.
“True.” / “Tama.” Ynna and Carmina both say.
“Sabi pa niya nung prom maghihintay siya! Ang landi lang
talaga! Haggang salita lang pala siya eh!” I’m so angry that I need to let
it all out, to shout. I need this. “May pasabi sabi pa siyang mahal niya
ako!”
“Wait kalian kayo nag-usap?” Ynna asks.
whine. I sit defeated in the chair opposite from the both. I look at them. “Hindi
ako nakapag sayaw dahil sa kanya!” I tell them.
tanggi eh!” Carmina exclaims. “Ayun yung sinabi niya sayo ano nung
paakyat kayo?”
I nod. “Sabi niya wag daw ako makipag sayaw dahil baka
raw makasuntok siya. Suntok my ass. Baka siya suntukin ko ngayon!”
“Wait. Bago tayo makipag suntukan… Kailan niya sinabi
Ynna asks.
“Nag sayaw kami bago niyo ako pinagtulakan kay Kevin
Liu.” I answer. “Ang landi talaga!”
“Sa kanya yung coat ano?” Carmina asks. I nod again. “Nag-uusap
pa ba kayo ni Allen pagkatapos ng prom?” she asks.
I nod. “Sa text. Well good morning lang at good night.
Nagg-gm ako ng good morning at good night, magre-reply siya.”
“Never kang nag gm ah!”
I roll my eyes.”Duh kunyaring gm lang.” I say.
gm. Edi kunyari gm na yun. “I feel so stupid!”
“Why?” Ynna asks. “Act like you don’t care. It’s
his loss anyway. Flip him off.”
“Oh yeah! Pagselosin mo! Tas silent treatment.”
I’m not that petty but the idea sounds great.
Someone knocks on the door and opens it. “Girls your
delivery.” Cyril says as he walks in with our food.
“Oh thank you Cy! Hindi mo alam kung gaano ko ka
kailangan ng comfort food!” I exclaim and run to him. I hug him and he
laughs.
“I heard.
kaya enjoy eating girls.” Cyril says.
“Nasa baba yung wallet ko.” I say.
He shakes his head. “It’s on me.” I hug him again. “Mag-uusap
tayo mamaya.” He whispers.
I nod nervously and he leaves us alone again.
Kumain lang kaming tatlo at nagtawanan. Food really makes me
forget about my problems. Gah. I wish I could eat forever and not be fat.
I’d stay away from Allen now. It’s solved. I can’t look
stupid. My pride won’t let me anyway.
